Next event; "Lobbying - just a load of paperwork?"
Our next event will take place at 7.00 this TUESDAY the 13th of March at the Malcolm X centre in St Pauls.
As public lobbying groups such as Avaaz and 38 degrees see vast signups and key successes, we look at whether lobbying is seeing a resurgence in our web driven age.
This workshop will look at lobbying - its purpose, its potential and how to do it effectively. The event will be workshop designed to develop and support people interested in lobbying (both paper based and physically).
Off the back of this we have managed to coordinate a surgery with Stephen Williams MP specifically for Bristol students in the coming weeks. This workshop is a must for those interested and will provide skills and ideas to effectively lobby him on your issue.
If you are interested in this - come along to the workshop
