The NUS has carried out a major piece of research into the experiences of parents studying in further and higher education. The aim of the research was to shed light on the barriers faced by student parents, as well as to investigate the positive impact that learning can have on individuals and their families.
Children are offered a wide range of indoor and outdoor play activities, in a caring setting, to encourage their personal and social development.
Many parents comment on the lively and positive atmosphere the nurseries offer, and value the convenienceof the two centres right in the heart of the University's two main sites.
