Introduction

This part of the website is dedicated to helping International Students find their feet. The Students' Union, along with the University and International Students Advisory Service, is here to promote the interests of international students, regardless of where you come from or what your needs are. We understand that often International Students have very different problems than home students, so we are here to help.

Multi-Cultural / International Students' Forum

Are you an international student or interested in working with students from different cultural backgrounds? If this sounds like something you'd enjoy, join us at the next Multicultural Forum to share your thoughts, express your views, offer suggestions, organise events, seek advice for problems and get to meet more international faces! If you want to get involved please e-mail Ruth at vicepresident-ubu@bris.ac.uk.

International Food in the Union

The Students' Union stocks a range of international foods (i.e. Halal and Kosher food, as well as a selection of Chinese, Korean and Eastern food). Look out for special offers happening throughout the year. This is available from the Wicked Coffee and Juice Bar.

The International Student Handbook

The Handbook has everything in it from a sample budget to information about the weather.

University of Bristol International Students Advisory Service

This service can be found on the 2nd Floor of the Students' Union Building, Queen's Road, Bristol BS8 1LN. There are a number of advisers and they are here to help students on a whole range of issues such as immigration, visa applications and can also arrange visits throughout the year to cultural places of interest in England. The service is open throughout the year, Monday to Friday from 10.00 to 16.00. Find out more from the International Advisory Service website.
