LGBT
The LGBT Society supports, represents and brings together the lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans students of Bristol University.
We run a wide and exciting range of socials each term from coffee meetings to sports games, clubbing to city trips. Alongside the social aspects of our society we aim to provide support and welfare for our members. We are a strong and devoted committee who will endeavour to help you with any concerns or support you may need. There is also a 'Parenting Scheme' to act as a further support network.
You don't need to be "out" to be a member of the LGBT, and membership is open to everyone who is open minded about sexuality. We strive to be approachable, inclusive and confidential. But most of all we just want to have fun!

A big hello from your new LGBTsoc Committee!
Just a quick message to wish everyone the best of luck for their remaining exams, both current Bristol University students, and anybody hoping to join the University next year.
Keep your eyes peeled for the updates coming to this website over the summer and information regarding Fresher’s Week and the rest of October.
We only have a couple of socials left for this coming term: a coffee afternoon at Start The Bus, a night at Mutiny on the good ship Thekla, and a final Shilling send off; but we’ll be back next year with more of the same and new things too.

Election time has come. It's your chance to become a committee member of
our brilliant society and carry on the work that we've been doing for the
next academic year 09/10. There are 9 different positions that you can
nominate yourself for, including a new officer role which will need to be
passed in our AGM as part of our constitutional amendments (please see
below).
If you are thinking of nominating yourself then there are a number of
