Labour Club

Do you want to make a difference? Join the most active political society university. Recently we have campaigned on Zimbabwe, HIV/AIDS and various local issues. Events over the past year have included inter-party debates between local parliamentary candidates and guest speakers including local Labour MPs and the Rt Hon John Denham, Secretary of State for Innovation, Universities and Skills. Locally we are involved in the election campaigns of our local parliamentary candidates and nationally the club attends Labour Students’ events such as the Labour Party Spring Conference where we are now a prominent voice amongst all Labour clubs.  £3 inc. full membership of the Labour Party www.ublc.org.uk gm7541@bristol.ac.uk
