The 2010/11 committee would like to welcome you to join us in the Hong Kong Society of the University of Bristol.

We are a society that brings together the HK community here at Bristol, to endeavour new challenges, enhance our interests and talents to strive further, together creating a new chapter in our lives. We aim to ensure that you get the most out of your University life, by offering an extensive range of activities throughout the year, allowing opportunities for every one of you to enrich your experiences. Part of being in the HKSoc is a reminder of who we are, where we are from and who we have become, hence we will uphold the traditions and cultures of Hong Kong to make you feel at home.

You will meet many new people throughout your life here – each from different social backgrounds, cultures, routines, and activities – which provides not only opportunities to broaden your social circle and cultural understanding, but also self development and learning.

We will be here to lend a hand; whether this about academics or personal issues, or merely advice about accommodation or recommendations on leisure activities, please do not hesitate to contact us! We are here to provide you with a sense of belonging, security, and comfort. There is always someone in this society for you, to help you out through high and low times, to encourage and support you.
