Students representing students' views to the Union, University and at a national level.
A Part-time Officer is an unpaid student representative who is elected by the student body. They continue their studies alongside their officer role and have no set hours. The term of office for a Part-time Officer is one academic year from July-June.
Each position has a specific area of responsibility as defined in the Union’s Constitution. Like Full-time Officers, each Part-time Officer’s core role is to represent the students at the University of Bristol as an embodiment of our vision to help "University of Bristol students to create a world class student life for themselves".
Part-time Officers play a big role in organising forums on particular issues or the shared experiences of a particular group of students.
2013-14 Part-time Officers:
The 2013-14 Part-time Officers were elected in the March 2013 elections and took office on 1 July.
If you are interested in standing for a Part-time Officer role for the 2014-15 academic year, or in standing for a Postgraduate position (elected in October 2013), please get in touch for more information or with any questions.
