The University of Bristol Students' Union is responsible for the representation of all students at Bristol.

We aim to represent you across the board - from individual academic issues to advising the University about long-term student experience issues. Topics regularly covered by Union representatives include academic studies, welfare, community cohesion, accommodation, finance and personal safety.

UBU works to ensure that all students have their voices heard through two schemes of elected representatives: the Student Reps system and Student Council.

Course Reps

The Student Representative system runs within each year group in every department at the University at both Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels. These representatives feed student opinion of their course back to the department and help enact changes and developments within the course.

To find contact details for your representatives, and for more information on representation, please use the menu on the right.

This section also offers information and support for Course Reps with a range of resources and guides for carrying out your role as effectively as possible.

Also check out the UBU Staff Support Guide for information

about supporting the work of Course Reps.
