There will be dry changing facilities but no showering facilities. The completed redevelopment of the pool will be finished in January 2012. The new facilities will include new changing, shower and entrance facilities. 

 

Work to upgrade the lighting, heating and ventilation systems has been completed but as the new changing rooms are not ready and the old ones are decommissioned there will be a limited number of temporary changing cubicles along the poolside spectator deck.  

 

Many members indicated that they wanted access to the pool (albeit on a limited basis), so opening on a restricted basis was chosen over keeping the pool closed until January.

 

Due to recent campaigning from UBU and sports clubs it will now be possible to pay as you go during off-peak times.
