Student-run Burst Radio has issued a press release with details of their increasing broadcast area from October 2012:
For the first time ever, Burst Radio will now be played out in cafés and buildings across the precinct. Listeners were previously chained to their laptops but from October they will be able to hear their favourite shows around the city.
This huge step will allow the station to draw unprecedented listening figures and engage with a much wider pool of students. All of this is possible because of the generous co-operation of the Source café group and a new sponsorship deal with KPMG.
The new outlets of Burst Radio include student hotspots like the Refectory and the Priory Road complex café.
Here's a handy map of Burst's new broadcasting locations:
In The Richmond Building: Home of the Students' Union, Burst will be broadcast where possible with consideration for the ongoing building works.
