The commentry of woodland

The commentry of woodland court wardens is greatly misleading. All the wardens I met when I was living there were fellow students and were really very helpful if ever they were needed.

The problem with living with "the wrong warden" (and what a rubbish description as they are interviewed for such a position) is no different from lving with "the wrong flatmate". This is not a problem at woodland court, it's part of living with people you don't know in every halls at every university.

Shame on the university to endorse such a shallow report by someone who clearly does not know what she is talking about.

WOODLAND COURT IS ACE - I LIVED THERE - I KNOW :o)

Hi, I am sorry you found our

Hi,
I am sorry you found our report "shallow", but I can tell you that I did live there as well so I do know what I am talking about.

I completely agree with you on the fact that "living with the wrong warden is like living with the wrong flatmate", but what I was trying to say is that, in my opinion, Woodland Court should ask people whether they want to have a warden in their flat or not, just as they ask you whether you want a single sex or mixed flat.

My "rubbish description" was not referring to the warden's professionality, but more to the fact that the warden I lived next door to was not acting in the interest of the people on the floor like she was supposed to, but more in her interest. For example, one night we were in the kitchen, she called SECURITY just because SHE could hear us talking, whereas we were not disturbing anyone else in the flat (my other flatmates where happily asleep and stated that they did not hear anything) or in the rest of Woodland Court.

I'm glad you enjoyed your stay in WCourt and you're welcome to share your experience in next year's alternative prospectus.
