If you keep thinking of goals that you would like to achieve, but never seem to have the time or motivation to do so, then this workshop is for you.

 

Taught by a qualified personal coach, this session will help you set achievable goals in both your academic and personal life, and will get you on track towards fulfilling your aims.

 

Whether its finishing your dissertation, learning a new language or planning your future career, this workshop will equip you with the self-coaching techniques you need to succeed.

 

Aims and Objectives

 

By the end of the session you will have identified a key goal and devised a timetabled action plan to achieve it. You will also:

  • identify areas for change
  • learn how to set achievable goals
  • learn the POWER model for goal setting
  • learn what motivates you and how to stay on track
  • learn how to use rewards and avoid self-sabotage
  • receive a list of follow-up reading to keep you focused.

This session is recommended for any student wishing to increase their personal motivation and develop a positive approach to self-management.
