Building on the Critical Thinking and Reading Skills workshops, this final session in the series helps you to write better structured and more strongly-argued academic assignments.

Prerequisites

This course is designed to complement and build upon the Critical Thinking and Reading Skills workshops. We would therefore encourage students to attend these sessions first.

Aims and Objectives

The workshop covers:

• interpreting the question
• identifying your research questions
• structuring essays and reports
• developing your written style
• avoiding plagiarism
