Part of the building will become the International Foundation Programme, University of Bristol pre-arrival courses aimed at 18+international students for whom English is a foreign language. The swimming pool will be retained and improved as will the International Office.

What's changing in the Students' Union?
The bulk of the changes to the Students' Union are in Phase 2, the design stage for this is starting soon. The findings from our recent Say It! consultation project will help inform these decisions but we’d like students to take part in forthcoming research to help us create a vibrant Students Union, including the bar, cafe and spaces for student use.
