RAG & Volunteering Awards 2013
The RAG and Volunteering Awards celebrate the amazing achievements of all those students who have given up their time to fundraise and volunteer throughout the year.
This year the awards will take place on Wednesday 19th June at The Station on Silver Street, Bristol. All RAG members and UBU Volunteers are invited!
Awards will be presented to students and groups who have been involved with RAG or Volunteering. The Volunteering Awards categories are:
Most Enthusiastic Volunteer - awarded to a student who has demonstrated enthusiasm and commitment to volunteering over the year
Best New Volunteering Project – awarded to a new student-led volunteering project or initiative, started during the current academic year.
Most Engaged Project Coordinator(s) – awarded to Project Coordinator(s) who have demonstrated commitment and enthusiasm in running their projects, overcoming challenges positively and supporting other volunteers
Best Fundraising Effort – awarded to a project, team or individual who have demonstrated commitment and success in fundraising for their project or related causes
Most Developed Project – awarded to a project which has responded to changing need or circumstances and developed accordingly
Outstanding Contribution to Volunteering – awarded to a project or individual who have made and sustained an outstanding contribution to the local community through volunteering
Volunteer Stars – these will be awarded to individuals(s) who have demonstrated commitment to volunteering over the past year – they may have contributed significantly to one project, volunteer across several projects, be involved in training or organise events. Whatever they do, they do it with enthusiasm and are an invaluable part of the team!
