Volunteering Exec

The Volunteering Exec is an elected body of students who support the Volunteering Coordinator to run our Student Volunteering programme.

The role of the exec is to oversee all student volunteering activity, to liaise with staff and sabbatical officers in ensuring students who want to volunteer are best represented and to seek ongoing ways to improve volunteering provision at UBU. The exec supports and manages fundraising events and larger community events such as a kids’ Christmas Party and a community dinner dance.

The exec supports existing projects and volunteers who would like to set up new projects. Their role is also to ensure UBU volunteering remains as student-led as possible by supporting the promotion, recruitment and training of volunteers and volunteering opportunities. You can find out about all the specific roles on the exec by looking at the role descriptions here.
