For projects where you will be working with children or vulnerable adults you will need a CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) check. This is a background police check to ensure that it is safe for you to volunteer. Not all projects require a CRB check, if you are unsure contact them on the email address listed.
You must complete your CRB check in person and can do this at the Do It hub (4th floor Students' Union) on
Mondays: 2-5pm
Thursdays: 10-12
If these times aren't convenient, pleas email ubu-volunteering@bristol.ac.uk to arrange an alternative.
You need to bring 3 forms of identity with you, one from group 1 and two from either group 1 or group 2.
