Ice Hockey

This is a joint club with UWE. Ice Hockey is a friendly yet competitive club and have two teams of differing standards. The first team, last seasons league champions, play in a full contact league in division 2 of the British Universities Ice Hockey association. Our second team play in division 3, a semi contact league making the club particularly competitive all round. We also hold a variety of socials before and after matches, depending on which team is playing and also at the beginning and end of the season. Although the teams are very competitive, we offer people of all abilities the chance to play Ice Hockey. If you're a beginner we have qualified coaches on hand to teach you the basics, and get you up to scratch so you can eventually become a memberof the squad. We pride ourselves on being able to be as social as we are competitive, creating a good balance for university life.
