Handovers

As a newly elected leader of a UBU society, you are required to complete an online handover form. You will need to have the following to hand:

  • A copy of your risk assessment (this should be reviewed every year, preferably at handover)
  • Contact details (Names, @bristol email addresses and phone numbers) of the new committee
  • A copy of your constitution (only if this has been changed since your last handover)
  • Details of any equipment owned by your society
  • Details of any plans that you have for the coming year

Click here to go to the handover form

After you have completed the form, we will update our records and contact you if applicable to arrange a handover meeting. (We aim to meet with societies at least once every two years at handover)

Important Documents

A copy of the Club and Society guidelines can be found here.

Please note, this version of the club and society guidelines was passed by Student Coucil in 2009. As you will see a lot of the wording is out of date and needs updating. A new version is currently being prepared and will go before Student Council towards the end of the year.

A copy of the committee handbook can be found here. You can also come into the Do It! hub and pick up a hard copy of this at any time.

The grant application guidelines are to be found on the first page of the grant request form, and you can find it here.
