We are Bristol University's hill-walking and hiking club, catering for both hard-core mountain trekkers and those who prefer a gentle stroll between pubs, going everywhere from the Cornwall to Scotland, the Cotswolds to the Alps. We go out walking every term-time weekend; with a mixture of day walks and full weekend trips we try to cover a wide variety of landscapes from mountains, to rolling hills, to coastline. We also have a packed social calendar so if you're just looking for a friendly bunch of people to hang out with feel free to come along! If you're looking explore even further afield, we also run a summer trip every year where we go abroad for a week or so.
Membership is £10 which covers affiliation to the British Mountaineering Council (BMC), and allows you to come on any of our walks and gives you access to any of our equipment.
For more information why not check out our website or email us, alternatively we meet every Tuesday lunchtime in the Colston Arms at the bottom of St Michael's hill where you can come for a tasty lunch and quiz us about all you need to know about Explorers.
