Raising And Giving Week 2012 

18th-26th February

 

  Saturday 18th

Procession - This beautiful event is one of the oldest traditions at Bristol RAG. The procession starts at the Downs and works it's way down Whiteladies Road, Park Street and around Broadmead before ending up at the Union.

  Monday 20th 

Bristol's Biggest Burrito - We have teamed up with Jan at Mission Burrito on Park Street to try and break the British Burrito record, which currently stands at just under 20 metres. When it's made and measured, WE EAT! All the profits from this edible record go to RAG.

 

  Tuesday 21st

Pancakes - InfoPoint - As it's Pancake Day we'll be selling pancakes outside the InfoPoint all day

iTouch It - Apple have very kindly donated am all singing all dancing iPad 2 for RAG to give away. The competition couldn't be simpler... Everyone competing starts touching the iPad at the same time, then you wait and wait until people start to leave due to lectures/cold/boredom! When you are the last person left, YOU HAVE WON!! It's as simple as that :D

 

  Wednesday 22nd

Massage-a-thon - Massage Soc love touching people, and RAG loves money. We've combined our two loves to create one AWESOME event. Come down and get rubbed for charity.

 

  Thursday 23rd

Overnight Soccathon - The name says it all. This annual event draws in teams from every corner of uni. Make sure your team enters quick. Sign up fills up immediately.

  Friday 24th

Night Shelter Sponsored Sleep Out - This is a UBU Volunteering project run on behalf of the Julian Trust, the sleepout is at Pip n Jay Church.

International Trip Club Night - venue TBC

Mission: Burrito - The race is on to voyage around all four of the Mission Burrito Shops and back to Bristol. Prizes for the fastest team!

5km Fun Run at Combe Dingle
