Training

UBU offers a variety of training throughout the year.  Training is open to everyone although some is designed specifically for volunteers or committee leaders to prepare them for their activity.

Volunteer Training

There are a range of training sessions specifically for those who wish to volunteer through one of the community volunteering projects run through the Students' Union. These occur throughout the year but mostly in the first term. The Volunteer Induction and Protection of Children and Vulnerable Adults is the only compulsory training session but sessions on Mental Health Awareness, Learning Disabilitiy and Autism Awareness, Creative Communication and Teaching Training are also available. Visit the Volunteer Training Page for more details.

First Aid Training

UBU offers one-day First Aid training for members of its sports club, societies, RAG and volunteering projects.  The next course is on Saturday 2 March.  Places cost £35pp and are limited - to book your place click on "Add to Basket" below.
