UBU Website Account Enquiries
I've tried logging in to the site but haven't been successful.
On the log-in screen there are two options. University of Bristol students should click the text saying: "UBU Students - University of Bristol Students log in with your University Credentials". This will take you to the single-sign-on prompt and will use your university details. If it doesn't work, let us know via email on
ubu-membership@bristol.ac.uk. All non-students need to register as a guest at
ubu.org.uk/account/register. You can then sign-on using the non-student sign-in.
I'm a Fresher who hasn't officially registered with the University yet but I want to log in to buy tickets.
You will need to register as a Guest. Your Guest account will be merged with your student account once you register online with the University.
I haven't received a confirmation email to validate my website registration account.
Please check your spam or junk folder - it could be lurking in there. If it isn't, please send and email with your first and last name from the email address that you registered with to
emily.lindo@bristol.ac.uk.
I'm a postgraduate student or on a short term course, my details aren't recognised on single-sign on.
This has been an issue where information from the university student info database wasn't synchronised with our system. We have fully synchronised the system as of 14th March 2012. If you are still experiencing problems please contact
ubu-membership@bristol.ac.uk.
Which email accounts are you using?
For the majority of mailings related to your account we are using your university account, this includes information from the clubs and societies you have joined. For large mailings from the the students' union including our fortnightly newsletter we are using your personal email address.

I have several personal email addresses, which one are you using?
The personal email we are using is the personal email address registered on the student system. If you need to check which email we are using or want to change it go here:

The website says my details do not match. What should I do?
The details the account is looking for are:

student number,
-
date of birth, and
-
your email address. (as above)
We last updated the information from the University on 14th March 2012. Unfortunately we don't currently automate this information but will do for 2012/13.
I've forgotten my username, which one is it?
If you registered before Friday 14th October, it is likely to be your 6 digit university username. If you registered since then it is likely to be your student number.
I’m trying to purchase club and society membership or tickets but my card keeps getting rejected. What should I do?
We were experiencing a high number of rejections due to increased fraud prevention checks. We believe this issue is now resolved.
Where can I purchase, tickets or memberships of clubs and societies?
The Information Point is open Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm.
